How to visit the fort
The Fenestrelle Fortress can only be visited during opening hours.
Volunteers from the Progetto San Carlo – Forte di Fenestrelle Onlus association manage visits to the Fortress, offering various types of tours with a minimum of 10 participants.
In the summer and until early November, evocative guided night tours are organized, with torches and guides in historical costume.

Around the fort
During opening hours it is possible to visit some sections of the fortress or small but significant museums.

An interest journey
Visit the Forte San Carlo in detail with all its buildings and underground areas, walk along a long and beautiful stretch of the “Scala Coperta” with 4000 steps

Royal Walk
Departure in the morning and return in the late afternoon for a complete visit to the fortress, with an altitude difference of approximately 600m.
